| Inktex ink is a water based screen printing ink, which
is also highly recommended for hand printing. Inktex textile ink can
be used for air brushing of fabric after thinning down with Inktex
thinning solution. This solution is an additive that reduces the viscosity
of the ink without altering the binding properties or the intensity
of the ink. If necessary Inktex can be thickened by the addition of
standard Thickeners. Inktex can be blended in order to obtain colours,
which are not in the standard range. The colour intensity or depth
of shade can be reduced by blending Inktex inks reducer in any proportion
according to the depth colour required. Inktex textile ink can be
blended to obtain non-standard colours without loss of consistency.
Inktex textile inks Contain Silicon softener, which provides handling
softness in the Print area |
Fixation: After printing
with Intex textile ink, adequate fixation may be achieved by curing
for 3 minutes at 150oC from dry state. Proper fixation will ensure
high level of wash and rub fastness properties as well as durability
of prints. When printing polyester blends and other synthetic materials
the addition of 1-1.5% of Inktex fixing Agent is recommended to
obtain optimum fastness properties.
Cleaning: Inktex textile ink is water based, therefore
equipment is easily cleaned with water and mild detergent.
Special Printing products: Puff, Opaque, Pearlescent
and Metallic ready to apply printing inks are also available to
highlight print areas. As an option for cost reduction Inktex Pigment
concentrates are available in full range of colours and pack sizes
for the users to mix their own printing inks. |
